  1.     Friends!  Fellow Egyptians! There 
  2. have been many errant rumors circulating 
  3. about the building of new pyramids.  
  4. These rumors are nothing more than 
  5. vicious attempts by my political enemies 
  6. to portray me as decadent and self-serving!
  7. I want peace and prosperity for Egypt 
  8. --not a pile of rubble that will 
  9. enlist tens of thousands of laborers 
  10. and cost untold millions to build.
  11.     I call on my adversaries to put 
  12. a halt to these attempts to defame my 
  13. character. We are entering a kinder, 
  14. gentler epoch, and we need to pull 
  15. together if we're going to make 
  16. Egypt great again.
  17.     Friends! Hear me! I pledge to 
  18. you that there will be no new pyramids. 
  19. And that pledge is forever, for the
  20. time being.
